Wentzville Women Arrested for Child Endangerment, 45 Counts of Animal Abuse

The condition of the home in the 1700 block of S. Service Road prompted the removal of the animals and children.

Nadine Gaspar, 35, and Sheila Cleek, 44, of Wentzville, were arrested May 8 on 45 counts of animal abuse and 5 counts of child endangerment.

Twelve officers responded to an animal complaint call at 1:45 p.m. on May 8 in the 1700 block of the South Service Road. confirm that the child endangerment charges were related to the condition of the home, and that the children and animals have been removed from the home.

The animals involved were 11 dogs, 14 cats (one deceased), one rabbit, 18 birds and one pygmy goat.
