Wentzville Brothers Indicted on Drug, Weapon Charges

Drug Task Force detectives said the two have been the topic of an ongoing drug investigation.

Two brothers from Wentzville were indicted by a St. Charles County grand jury on drug charges Friday.

Fabrian Jones, 27, of the 1400 block of Coco Place in Wentzville, was indicted on unlawful possession of a firearm and unlawful use of drug-related items charges.

Farrell Jones, 21, also of the 1400 block of Coco Place, was indicted Friday on distributing a controlled substance, possessing a controlled substance, and unlawful use of drug-related items. He lives near his brother, Fabrian Jones.

St. Charles County Drug Task Force detectives said while in a small, knotted bag, a small amount of marijuana and other drug-related items.

Task force members said they found a loaded pistol, spoons and numerous plastic bags with heroin residue in Fabrian Jones’ residence, according to a Drug Task Force report.

Fabrian Jones is not allowed to possess a weapon due to a conviction for distributing and possessing a controlled substance in 2011. He was sentenced to five years in prison, but was given a suspended sentence after serving 60 days in jail on other charges.

A task force report indicated the two brothers are subjects of an ongoing drug investigation.

Fabrian Jones’ girlfriend, Amanda Kay Tunison, 33, was charged with unlawful use of drug-related items in the same investigation, but her case was not brought before the grand jury.

Fabrian Jones is being held in St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $20,000.

Farrell Jones posted 10 percent of a $20,000 bond and was released Nov. 29. He is prohibited from contacting his co-defendants.
