Wentzville Man Charged in Lake Saint Louis Shooting

Police say Lamon Clark shot through a door into a room in the Lake Saint Louis home where three boys were sitting.

Lamon Clark, 19, of Wentzville, has been charged in St. Charles County Circuit Court on five felony charges after shooting into a home in Lake Saint Louis in the early morning hours of June 30 and endangering the lives of three boys.

According to a story in STL Today, reported that Clark went to the home on Normandy Court in Lake Saint Louis intending to shoot a man who had been accused of assaulting his brother at a party.

Clark shot at least four rounds through a sliding door with the boys, ages 8, 10 and 12, sitting nearby.

Clark was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, along with first-degree assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon. Bond was set at $50,000, cash only.
