A Wentzville man was involved in a three-vehicle accident on westbound Highway 94 at Siedentop Road.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP), the accident occurred at noon on Friday, May 13.
A 2010 Chevrolet Impala, driven by Byron J. Watts, 64, Edwardsville, IL., was heading westbound on Highway 94 in lane 3. A 2001 Honda Accord, driven by Ramesh Bathineni, 33, O'Fallon, was northbound on Siedentop. A third car, a 2007 Chevy Tahoe driven by Brett A. Westhoff, 41, Wentzville, was stopped on southbound Siedentop at a red light.

Bathineni traveled across Highway 94 on a green light. Watts failed to stop for his red light and struck the front of Bathineni's vehicle. After the initial impact, the Impala skidded back onto Siedentop Road and struck Westhoff's Tahoe.
Watts sustained minor injuries in the crash. He was taken by St. Charles County Ambulance to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.

All three drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
