A Wentzville man was involved in a two-vehicle accident on Route D, one mile west of New Melle.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 12:45 a.m. on July 19.
A 2002 Ford F-250, driven by James M. Cooper, 29, Wentzville, crossed the center line on a curve in the road, striking the side of a 1993 GMC 1500.

The driver of the GMC, Marvin E. Smith, 52, O'Fallon, sustained minor injuries. He was taken to St. Joseph West Hospital by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Cooper was not injured.

Both men were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
