Wentzville Man Injured in Tuesday Afternoon Crash
Ivan Mickens was rear-ended in the crash on T.R. Hughes Blvd.
Ivan Mickens, 42, of Wentzville, was injured in a two-car crash Tuesday when he stopped on East Terra Lane just east of T.R. Hughes to make a left turn.
Robert J. Deterding, 62, of St. Peters, who was driving a 2001 Dodge Ram, struck the rear of Mickens' 2004 Kia Optima.
The accident occurred just after 3:30 p.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

The impact of the crash totaled out Micken's car and sent him to seek medical attention. St. Charles County Ambulance took Mickens to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. The crash report lists his injuries as minor.
Deterding was unharmed despite sustaining extensive damage to his vehicle.
