Wentzville Police Blotter: Stove Thieves and Loud Music

Calls to the Wentzville Police Department, Oct. 7 - 9.

Following is a list of reports taken by officers of the Wentzville Police Department from Sunday, Oct. 7 to Tuesday, Oct. 9.

October 7

  • Suspicious circumstances were reported at Corporate Parkway Library at 11:08 a.m. A door was left unlocked at the library.
  • A burglary was reported at 12:49 p.m. in the 300 block of Essex Park Drive. The victim reported that nothing was stolen.
  • An auto accident was reported in the 500 block of West Pearce Boulevard at 3:18 p.m.
  • Domestic violence was reported in the 1100 block of West Pearce Boulevard at 5:33 p.m.
  • Domestic violence was reported on Plaza Place at 6:06 p.m.
  • Domestic violence was reported in the 200 block of New Richmond Drive at 10:11 p.m.
  • Fraud was reported at 11:32 p.m. at the police station. A 26-year-old was the victim of identity theft.

October 8

  • Domestic violence was reported in the 6200 block of Peine Lakes Drive at 12:10 a.m.
  • A civil disturbance was reported in the first block of Ridge Manor Court at 6:07 a.m. The incident was domestic in nature.
  • Property damage was reported in the 2000 block of Village Glen Drive at 10:38 a.m. A garage door valued at $800 was damaged. 
  • A runaway/missing person was reported at Timberland High School at 1:30 p.m. 
  • Stealing was reported at 2:57 p.m. at Famous Footwear. A 28-year-old female and a 22-year-old female were suspected of stealing shoes valued at $120.
  • An auto accident was reported on East Route A at Mexico Road at 3:37 p.m.
  • Fraud was reported in the 1400 block of East Pitman Avenue at 9:03 p.m. A 22-year-old female was suspected of using the victim's credit card.
  • A suicide attempt was reported in the 2000 block of Hannah Drive at 3:48 p.m.
  • An open door was reported in the 1500 block of South Service Road West at 8:03 p.m.

October 9

  • Domestic violence was reported in the 200 block of Old Chesapeake Drive at 1 a.m.
  • Domestic violence was reported in the 1000 block of Chesterfield Drive at 3:44 a.m.
  • Officers were called to check the well-being of a subject at Timberland High School at 9:05 a.m.
  • Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway at 8:44 a.m. The incident was determined to be non-criminal in nature.
  • Stealing was reported at Walmart at 11:40 a.m. A 26-year-old male suspect shoplifted property worth $38.
  • Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 2200 block of Peine Lakes Drive at 12:14 p.m. An unknown subject was trespassing.
  • A DFS report was taken in the 200 block of Wildflower Ridge Drive at 1:02 p.m.
  • Stealing was reported at 2:29 p.m. in the 1100 block of Hwy. Z. The case is still active.
  • A DFS report was taken in the 1300 block of Meadow Ridge Drive at 4:01 p.m.
  • An auto accident was reported in the 1100 block of West Pearce Boulevard at 4:31 p.m.
  • An auto accident was reported in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway at 4:51 p.m.
  • A peace disturbance was reported in the 1200 block of Wentzville Parkway at 9:30 p.m. Loud music was reported.
  • An auto accident was reported on Hwy. 61 south at Wentzville Parkway at 8:43 p.m.
  • An auto accident was reported on Hwy. 61 south at I-70 east at 8:13 p.m.
  • A juvenile problem was reported at 9:01 p.m. in the 800 block of Oak Moss Drive.
  • A burglary was reported in the 200 block of Wilmer Ridge Drive at 9:56 p.m. The incident was in a residence under construction, property valued at $800 was taken by a 38-year-old male and a 32-year-old female.

  • Police were called to a residential fire in the 700 block of Dale Avenue at 10:09 p.m.
