Wentzville Police Blotter: Small Child Wandering at 1 a.m.

Calls to the Wentzville Police Department, July 18 and 19.

Following is a list of reports taken by officers of the on Wednesday, July 18 and Thursday, July 19.

July 18

  • A DWI was reported at 1:07 a.m. on Wentzville Parkway at I-70 west.
  • Stealing was reported in the 1900 block of Providence Estate Drive at 7:55 a.m. An iPod was stolen from a vehicle.
  • An accidental injury was reported in the 1400 block of Grizzly Holllow at 9:28 a.m. The victim fell and hit their head.
  • Stealing was reported at at 12:21 p.m. It was determined that the items were actually thrown away.
  • Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 200 block of Split Rail Drive at 12:43 p.m. Ron Clayburn, 45, was arrested as a fugitive from justice.
  • Anthony Starks, 45, was arrested as a fugitive in the 1400 block of Plaza Place at 1:48 p.m.
  • An auto accident was reported in the 1900 block of Wentzville Parkway at 1:57 p.m.
  • Stealing was reported at at 3:18 p.m. Cash was taken from a locker.
  • An auto accident was reported in the 1800 block of Wentzville Parkway at 3:31 p.m.
  • An auto accident was reported on Hwy Z at I-70 east at 4:15 p.m.
  • Drug violations were reported at 9:07 p.m. in the 100 block of Saint Charles Street. Nicholas Jones, 18, David Corder, 19, Cidt Gikkirab, 18, Chad Jaggie, 17, and Michael Pease, 19, were arrested for possession of marijuana.
  • Stealing was reported in the 600 block of Loch Carron Drive at 10:44 p.m. A camera and cologne valued at under $500 were taken from a vehicle.
  • Harassment was reported at 10:57 p.m. in the 400 block of Marble Fields Drive. The victim was receiving harassing phone calls from his estranged wife.
  • Domestic violence was reported at 11:44 p.m. in the 1500 block of Autumn Fields Lane.

July 19

  • Suspicious circumstances were reported at 1:13 a.m. at Progress Park.
    A small child left a residence and was seen wandering in the area. The child returned home and climbed into bed.
  • A derelict vehicle in the 100 block of Brookfield Boulevard was given a 15-day warning at 7:27 a.m.
  • A derelict vehicle on Hwy. 61 south at Wentzville Parkway was given a 48-hour warning at 11:21 a.m.
  • An accident was reported at 2:56 p.m. in the 1100 block of West Pearce Boulevard.
  • Domestic violence was reported at 10:41 p.m. in the 100 block of Kelcross Drive.
