Wentzville Truck Driver Involved in Lincoln County Accident
A Foley man was injured in the crash.
Richard A. Bauer, 47, of Wentzville, was westbound on Highway 47 in Lincoln County Tuesday morning in a Peterbilt truck when he was involved in a two-car accident, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
A 2009 Subaru Forester driven by Carl L. Anderson, 63, of Foley, was southbound on Route EE. Anderson failed to yield to Bauer, and the truck struck the front left of the Subaru.
Anderson sustained minor injuries and was transported by Lincoln County Ambulance to SSM St. Joseph Hospital West. Anderson was wearing a safety belt. His vehicle was totaled in the crash.

Bauer was uninjured, and his truck sustained moderate damage.
