Wentzville Woman Injured in Crash
The accident occurred June 30 on the Daniel Boone Bridge.
A Wentzville woman was injured Thursday in an accident on Highway 40 on the Daniel Boone Bridge.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 3:30 p.m.
A 1993 Chevrolet 1500 truck, driven by Douglas W. Owens, 45, Defiance, stopped for traffic on the bridge. The front of a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse struck the rear of the truck.

The driver of the Eclipse, Stephanie E. Lawson, 31, , sustained minor injuries. She was taken to Progress West Health Center by St. Charles County Ambulance.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, according to the report.
