Wentzville Woman Injured in Crash on Interstate 70

The crash took place just before 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 6.

A Wentzville woman was taken to St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles following a crash on Interstate 70 on Wednesday morning. 

Lorretta L Driver, 38, of Wentzville, was injured after a crash on eastbound I-70 west of Zumbehl Road just before 8 a.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Driver was slowing down for traffic ahead when a second car, a 2005 Toyota Matrix driven by Thomas A. Robbins, 25, of Foristell, was following too closely. The front of Robbins' car hit the rear of Driver's.

Driver's 2008 Jeep Commander sustained minor damage in the crash and she was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Robbins was unharmed in the crash but his car was totaled.

Both drivers were wearing safety devices in the crash.
