Wentzville Woman Stole XBox From Neighbor, Police Say

Wentzville Police said the woman and another person entered an apartment near the woman's home, took the game console and pawned it.

A Wentzville woman faces criminal charges after police said she and another person broke into her neighbor’s apartment and stole an Xbox 360 game console.

Karen Carter, of the 1100 block of Evergreen Court in Wentzville, was charged Friday with second-degree burglary and misdemeanor theft.

Wentzville Police said Carter and another person entered another apartment in the 1100 block of Evergreen Court and stole the Xbox 360 and a cable. They then sold it to a pawnshop for $70, police said.

Bail for Carter was set at $10,000 with the condition that she have no contact with her co-defendant.
