Woman Charged with Selling Drugs to Officer for Second Time

In two months, the Lake Saint Louis woman sold prescription medication to two undercover officers.

A woman was by a St. Charles County grand jury Friday for selling her prescription medication.

Kimber L. West, 19, of the 5700 block of Lake Saint Louis Boulevard, is charged with selling her Vyvanse medication to an undercover officer April 3. In February, on seven occasions to an undercover officer from November through March, according to a St. Charles County Regional Drug Task Force report.

Detectives said West contacted the undercover officer to sell him her Vyvanse medication. She saidand needed money to bail him out. She agreed to sell him four doses of Vyvanse and half her prescription when she refilled it for $270, according to the report.

West entered the undercover officer’s car and said she was nervous because she was going to prison for selling her medication to an undercover officer. She handed the officer a cigarette box with four doses of Vyvanse pills wrapped in cellophane, according to court documents.

When drug task force members took her out of the car, West threw the money at the undercover officer and asked, “Why did you do this to me? I am going to prison,” a detective said in the report.

A search of West’s car found two used syringes. West also faces a heroin possession charge in St. Charles.
