2nd Public Hearing Tonight for Ridgepointe Changes

The Board of Aldermen will also be looking at a bill regulating portable storage containers.

On the agenda for the 5:30 public work session at the are discussions of:

  • Condrey job classification and compensation Study
  • Projected property tax levy
  • Amending ordinance for satellite reception antenna and other antenna

The board will hold public hearings for:

  • An application for an amended development plan to allow Kemp Homes to build single-family detached homes in the portion of the development that was previously approved for attached (duplex-style) units.
  • An application to amend the city code having to do with the regulation of satellite dishes and other antennae in residential areas.

In old business the board will consider:

  • An ordinance prohibiting open house parties when alcohol or illegal drugs are possessed or used by minors.
  • An ordinance amending the Municipal Code having to do with the regulation of satellite reception antenna, amateur radio antenna and all other antenna in residential areas of the City.

 In new business, the board will consider:

  • An ordinance about the regulation of Portable Storage Containers.
  • A resolution authorizing the City’s projection of a “nonbinding tax levy” to the County Clerk.

 Time is allotted during each board of aldermen meeting for public comment.
