A Closer Look: Splash Station Construction in Pictures

Plagued earlier this year by unexpected rock and then by weather, construction is starting to move along.

It's hard to see the progress from Peine Road, but Splash Station construction is progressing well.

Wentzville Public Works Director Susan Mueller told the board of aldermen Wednesday night that although the aquatic center would not be open this year—or even make the earlier-projected September completion date—it could be finished up later in the fall.

Mueller also announced that the construction site passed a surprise OSHA (Occupational Health and Safety Administration) visit.
