In general, municipal judge services are similar in most communities, Koor said.

“Certainly the City of Wentzville is larger than any of the others, but the application of the law and attempt to be fair is the same whether it’s a town of 100 people or 30,000,” Koor said. “There were times during the course of my career when I was a municipal judge in three places at once. When my kids were young, I slowed down a bit to spend more time at home.”

Koor and his children are residents of O’Fallon. His children attend .

“Like any job, there are times when (municipal court) is boring, but there are times that good things, funny things and sad things happen. It’s all part of life, part of the institution,” Koor said.

Koor is a partner at the law firm Suddarth and Koor in O’Fallon.

“Throughout my extensive legal career, I have worked with thousands of clients, including individuals, families and businesses owners,” Koor said. “I have worked on cases covering a wide range of legal issues in many different areas of the law.”
