BOARD OF ALDERMEN MEETING

At 7 p.m., the board of aldermen meets with the following items under consideration:

  • Mayor Potter's proclamation that the City of Lake Saint Louis will observe Arbor Day on May 14, 2011.
  • Mayor Potter will announce the following Board of Aldermen Liaison assignments:
  1. Administrative/Finance – Alderman who is first in the voting order
  2. Planning & Zoning Commission – Alderman Schweikert
  3. Architectural Review Board – Alternating Aldermen (Vennard, Slyman, Sidebottom and Rich) Mayor Potter and Alderman Schweikert as back-up
  4. Board of Adjustment – Alderman Schweikert and Alderman Slyman
  5. Building Appeals Board – Alderman Rich and Alderman Sidebottom
  6. Development Review Board – Alderman Sidebottom and Alderman Vennard
  7. Park Board – Alderman Pellerito
  8. Tree Board – Alderman Rich and Alderman Vennard
  9. Green Environmental Advisory Committee – Alderman Pellerito
  10. Community Association – Alternating Board of Aldermen Members

In old business, the board will consider an ordinance amending several provisions of the Municipal Code providing for increased maximum building height in the PA (Public Activity) zoning district under certain limited circumstances.

In new business, the board will consider an ordinance authorizing a four-year service agreement with Sagem Morpho, Inc. for equipment maintenance of an automated fingerprint identification system on behalf of the City of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri.

The board will also consider these resolutions:

  • The proposed annexation of certain unincorporated territory to the City of Lake Saint Louis.
  • Authorizing a grant application requesting funds from the Missouri Highway Safety Division on behalf of the City of Lake Saint Louis.
