Candidates File for Lake Saint Louis Board of Aldermen Seats

One incumbent will run unopposed in the April election.

Filing ended Mon., Jan. 17 for seats on the .

Ralph Sidebottom, the Ward 1 incumbent, is running unopposed for another two-year term.

Three people are running to fill the seat vacated by the resignation of Harry Slyman in Ward 1. The remainder of the first year of that term was filled by Larry DeGroodt, who was appointed to the position by Mayor Mike Potter upon Slyman's resignation.

DeGroodt is running to finish the second year of that term for Ward 1. Also running for the one-year term are Tony Zito and Eric Oman.

In Ward 2, incumbent Karen Vennard will be challenged by John Lynch.

In Ward 3, incumbent John Pellerito will be challenged by Richard Morris. That election will be held in August.
