City Gives Go-Ahead to New Burger King Restaurant

The developers agreed to conditions the city required, such as extra trees for screening.

The Wentzville Board of Aldermen gave the go-ahead for a new Burger King restaurant on Wentzville Parkway at their meeting Wednesday night.

Burger King's site plan, record plat and conditional use permit had been tabled until concerns about the location of a trash collection area, turn lane improvements, sidewalks and signage for the drive-thru had been addressed.

The new Burger King will be built a site on the north side of Wentzville Parkway, about 650 feet west of Luetkenhaus Boulevard. The restaurant would be located just to the east of the QuikTrip gas station.

The city also negotiated with QuikTrip for a median in the eastern access road, with access to QuikTrip from the north.
