City to Hear Sam's Club Zoning Requests

Wednesday at Wentzville Board of Aldermen meeting.

Fresh off planning and zoning approval last Thursday, the Wentzville Board of Aldermen will hear several ordinances related to a proposed Sam's Club location. The board meets at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at . 

There will be public hearings and first readings of ordinances relating to the proposed new box store, which would be located near the existing location in Wentzville.

PUBLIC HEARINGS
  • Don Davis of Rural King, applicant on behalf of the property owner Art King of Wentzville Shopping Center, LLC, is requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit for amendments to Ordinance 3029 and Resolution 3048 to expand outdoor storage and display of merchandise and products for . The site is located on the south side of Interstate 70 South Service Road at 1 Wentzville Center.
  • Jeffrey Otto of THF Bear Creek Development, LLC on behalf of property owner, Mark and Kelly Hinch, is requesting approval to rezone three acres, mol from A - Agricultural to C-3 Highway Commercial. The site is located on the east side of May Road, approximately 1,000 feet north of Bear Creek Drive and known as 268 May Road.
  •  THF Bear Creek Development, on behalf of property owner, Steven and Mary Beth Heying, is requesting approval to rezone 3.1 acres, mol from A - Agricultural to C-3 Highway Commercial. The site is located on the east side of May Road, approximately 1,350 feet north of Bear Creek Drive.

  • John Stump of MFA, Inc., on behalf of property owner, Missouri Farmers Association, Inc., is requesting site plan approval for an accessory storage facility. The site is located on the southwest corner of W. Main St. and S. Church St.
  • Resolution No. 11-347 — Providing for the approval and acceptance of the dedication of the street, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and water main improvements within Stone Ridge Canyon Phase 5A within the City of Wentzville, Missouri.
  • Resolution No. 11-348 — Approving execution of Midwest Public Risk of Missouri Bylaws.
