Columbus Day Closings in Wentzville

Several government offices are closed for the holiday.

Today is Columbus Day, which is celebrated annually on the second Monday of October. The holiday remembers Christopher Columbus' arrival to the Americas on October 12, 1492.

In honor of the federal holiday, several government offices and businesses in Wentzville will be closed today. Those closures include:

  • . All city offices will be closed today.
  • The Missouri State Highway Patrol's driver examination stations will be closed throughout the state in observance of Columbus Day. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday Oct. 11.
  • All local banks, including , , , , and others will be closed today.
  • will not be open. Drivers needing to renew their license or registration can do so again on Tuesday.
  • State and federal government offices also will be closed.
