Morning Star Church Breaks Ground for Expansion

Morning Star Church held a groundbreaking ceremony for a new worship center and children’s space the morning of Tuesday, April 17, 2012.

Growth has inspired the church to move forward with the expansion to accommodate their increasing congregation. Major aspects of the 21,400 sq. foot expansion, designed by architect Vessel Architecture & Design and civil engineer Grimes Consulting, Inc., includes a 360-seat, multipurpose video venue and a 12,000 sq. foot children’s ministry space. Local general contractor, BBi Constructors, will construct expansion. Other new features include, coffee shop and expanded parking.

Founded in 1999, Morning Star Church seeks to meet people right where they are and helping them take their next step on their spiritual journey. Morning Star provides a wide variety of opportunities for spiritual and emotional growth, from support groups to classes, all of which are available to members as well as to the community.
