UPDATE: Harry Slyman Resigns from Board of Aldermen

Slyman cites a "lack of respect."

Lake Saint Louis Ward One Alderman Harry Slyman resigned his position on the Board of Aldermen at Monday night's meeting. Slyman had been re-elected to his position in April 2011.

Slyman said that although he had found throughout his years in business that compromise is important, "the only way you get things done," that he could not longer serve as an aldermen on the Lake Saint Louis board because, he said, "I can’t compromise on my core values."

Slyman said, "Because of the lack of respect from the board, I can no longer serve."
