Incumbent Alderman Is Running Unopposed

Nick Guccione seeks third term in Ward 3.

Nick Guccione, a two-term alderman, is running unopposed for his third term as Ward 3 alderman in the .

Guccione has been in management and the customer service industry for over 30 years. He is currently a manager for .

"To me, customer service is one of the most important roles of an alderman," Guccione said.

As part of his efforts to serve the people, Guccione and hold monthly meetings that are open to all Wentzville residents. The meetings are an informal opportunity to help citizens resolve any issues or concerns they may have. 

"People come first and I will always listen to the people," Guccione said. "I work to resolve any issues they may have. Anyone that I have worked with or helped will tell you that I stand for the people in this city — they are my first priority."

Guccione said the city needs to find ways to roll back taxes.

"We have had some budget cuts but I believe we can cut more," he said. "We also need to stop and look at smart growth."

Guccione tries to attend as many local meetings as he can to learn what needs to be done for the residents of the city.

"The best thing about living in Wentzville is that small town feeling — the village center, the people who make you feel like you been friends forever," Guccione said. "They treat you with respect and they care so much about were the city is going . "I just love the whole package of Wentzville and I am proud and honored to have the opportunity to represent the city. I want to support smart growth and I also support plans to revitalize Historic Downtown Wentzville."

Guccione is a member of , Knights of Columbus 10154, the Tri-County Labor Council, the Wentzville Historical Society and he also served on the board of directors for the St. Charles Municipal League.
