Candidate Questions

1. Primary reason for running for this office:
Restore integrity of this Board by stopping the unprofessional, arrogant, unprincipled, political agenda of 4 members of the current Board (using public money for private streets – snowplowing,  and proliferation of lighted video signage).

2. Single most important priority, if elected: Budget - maintain a conservative budget without increasing taxes. The current Board has already increased your property taxes and now is intent on increasing your sales tax. I will fight to stop that practice.

3. Favorite thing about Lake St. Louis: It is like being on vacation every day. We enjoy the amenities provided by the city and the Community Association.

4. Biggest problem in Lake St. Louis: After many years of positive accomplishments , the current Board has become stagnant and held hostage by personal, political agendas and election year politics with the city gaining nothing in return.

5. Vision for Lake St. Louis: Continue/expand the program started to put our streets on a regular cycle of maintenance and continue to correct our stormwater problems. Maintain a conservative budget while researching paths to find grants to fund these projects into the future without increasing the tax burden on our residents. Support Mayor Potter in expanding new jobs and new development into the city on the west side of I64 and begin the planning process for the 35 acres of the ground donated to the city for a passive park providing new trails for our residents to enjoy.
