UPDATE: Lake Saint Louis Boulevard Overlay Set for Sept. 21

Expect some delays as work is done on LSL Boulevard from the spillway bridge to Veterans Memorial.

UPDATE: The milling and asphalt paving orginally scheduled for Sept 20th has been pushed back a day to the 21st due to rain.

Preparatory concrete work on Lake Saint Louis Boulevard from the spillway bridge to Veterans Memorial Parkway is complete, and the has scheduled Wednesday, Sept. 22 for milling and overlaying.

Terry Rigdon, project manager, issued a press release on Sept 16 and closures and delays due to the roadwork. "The north bound lane will be closed to through traffic and motorists will be detoured to Bent Oak Cutoff. The south bound lane will remain open but may experience delays," Rigdon said.

Parking on the street during construction hours will be prohibited. 

The overlay project is being funded by a county-sponsored federal grant, said Public Works Director Derek Koestel. The City of Lake Saint Louis will contribute 20 percent matching funds. While St. Charles County is administering the contract, Koestel said, "our staff is on site to provide some additional oversight."
