Light Voter Turnout at April Municipal Elections
Historically, the April elections don't draw voters in large numbers. Will today's beautiful weather change that trend?
The weather on Election Day has been beautiful and sunny, with temperatures in the low sixties. Will that affect voter turnout?
According to the St. Charles County Board of Elections, the April municipal elections in Lake Saint Louis do not historically attract voters in great numbers. The highest percentage of registered voters in recent years turned out for the 2009 race between Michael Daniels and Kathy Schweikert for the Ward 2 seat on the board of aldermen.
