Mayor Appoints Chief of Police to Serve as Interim City Administrator
This is not the first time that Chief Lisa Harrison has filled the interim position.
After the death of City Administrator Michael McDowell Friday morning, Wentzville Mayor Nick Guccione has appointed Chief of Police Lisa Harrison to serve as Interim City Administrator.
The Board of Aldermen approved the appointment early Friday afternoon at an emergency meeting called by Guccione.
This is not Harrison's first time serving in the position. When Interim City Manager George R. Kolb was released earlier this year, Harrison was tapped to replace him. She filled both roles as Interim City Administrator and Chief of Police until McDowell stepped into the administrator position.
