In an interview with the Kansas City Star published yesterday, the head of the Missouri Department of Transportation floated the idea of tolls on Interstate 70.
Director Kevin Keith said his agency would try to persuade the General Assembly to authorize tolls on the road which crosses the state of Missouri.
A price for the tolls wouldn't be determined until partner contractors are selected and the process approved. Keith has not yet formally made the request of the Legislature.
