Panda Express Gets P&Z Nod

The board of aldermen will hold a public hearing and have a reading of a conditional use permit for the Chinese restaurant.

Wentzville's Planning and Zoning Commission gave their approval for a conditional use permit and site plan for a Panda Express on Wentzville Parkway at their May 3 meeting.

Now it's up to the Board of Aldermen to consider the request. A public hearing at the May 9 meeting will give residents a chance to speak up about the proposed new Wentzville location, between and in the Wentzville Crossroads Marketplace. Plans for the restaurant include a drive-through.

According to the Panda Express website, the nearest Panda Express locations currently are at Mid Rivers Mall in St. Peters, Chesterfield Commons and St. Louis Mills in Hazelwood.
