CANDIDATE QUESTIONS

1. What is the primary reason you are running for this office?
To made sure zoning changes, taxes and other use of taxpayers money goes to a worthy cause. Not special interest groups. The peoples voices will be heard in my Ward. I don't give into special interest unless they are good for everyone.

To bring the peoples voices to City Hall and Common $ens$ back to local government. To vote no on new taxes unless the money is spent wisely and the people agree.

3. What's your favorite thing about Lake Saint Louis?
It's a wonderful place to live for young families as well as seniors. Excellent shopping close by. Great place to walk or ride Bikes. Beautiful city parks, close to two major hwy's. Safe and quite, the list is endless !

4. What is the biggest problem you see in Lake Saint Louis?
Decisions seem to be made many times lacking common $en$e and with a totally disregard to the people most affected.

5. What is your vision for Lake Saint Louis?
To see LSL become a destination for new families and business.

6. If an incumbent, why do you think you should retain your seat? If you are challenging an incumbent, what do you think qualifies you for the position more than the incumbent?
I have watched my current Alderman George Rich vote for and work to pass a zoning change in my neighborhood. It was not a good change for the current owners. Even though we ask him to please don't do it. It was not a good fit for our Villas he did it anyway. When I questioned him after they passed the  zoning allowing a builder to build single family home in the middle of our attached villas of senior residents. I said to him, George you know that was not right to change the zoning . He smiled and say "It might not have been fair but it was legal" he did not listen to the voters who would be impacted by the change. He tried to say a majority voted for it. What he didn't tell anyone was. Half of the people who voted to change the zoning don't live in the attached Villas and would not be impacted by the change. He has changed the integrity of my home and very possible the value as well.
