Rain Garden Education Day Set for Sept. 22

Learn about the benefits of rain gardens and how you can construct your own.

On September 22, 2012 from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m., the City of Lake Saint Louis is hosting a Family Educational Field Day for the Rain Garden in Boulevard Park.  Please join us to learn about and experience the newly constructed rain garden and bioretention area in the park.  We will be providing information about how you can plant your own rain garden, and what benefits rain gardens can have for our area streams and lakes.

U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region VII, through the Missouri Department of Natural Resources has provided partial funding for this project under Section 319 of the Clean Water Act.
