Roundabout Exit on I-64 Could Stimulate Development in Dardenne Prairie

Mayor Pam Fogarty hopes that MoDOT will reconsider plans that might leave Hanley Road without access to the new interstate.

The St. Charles County Suburban Journal reported today that Dardenne Prairie Mayor Pam Forgarty wants to work with MoDOT and project designers to ensure that Hanley Road has access to I-364.

Fogarty suggested that a roundabout would be less expensive than a traditional interchange and could help drive traffic to the city's downtown area.

The second phase of I-364, also known as the Page Avenue Extension, was completed at the end of August, ahead of schedule, and brought the interstate to Mid Rivers Mall Drive. The final phase would continue from Mid Rivers Mall Drive through Cotttleville and Dardenne Prairie and terminate at I-64 near Lake Saint Louis at Highway N.
