Silvers Road will be closed at Salt River Road beginning Tuesday, March 1, weather pending, to allow for concrete paving and continued construction of the new Salt River Road project.
Traffic on Salt River Road will not be affected, but access to Silvers Road will be prohibited for approximately one month while the new road and intersection are being built.
Motorists can access Silvers Road from Highway C. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and the necessary detours will be posted. will be using changeable message boards to notify residents of any date changes of the closure and opening.

This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county’s road system for the safety of the traveling public.
