Update: MoDOT Postpones Closure of the Blanchette Bridge

Bridge crews were needed on short notice for another project.

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has postponed this week's lane closures on Interstate 70 at the Blanchette Bridge for the bridge's annual safety inspection until Monday.

The inspection was postponed because crews were needed for a short notice bridge repair.

Crews will close two lanes on westbound I-70 weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. from Monday until Thursday, Aug. 4. Crews will close the two right lanes and then move to the two left lanes as they complete inspection work. Three lanes will be open at all times.
