Wanted: Missouri Political Movers and Shakers

We're assembling a group of in-the-know political types interested in taking part in a project through the end of the 2012 election cycle.

St. Louis Patch sites are getting ready to launch a fun, and we hope informative, project in conjunction with the 2012 election cycle, and we need your help to find a few good men and women to make it happen.

We're looking for current or former elected officeholders, campaign activists, or township, county or state party officials--both Republicans and Democrats--who would be interested in letting us take their political pulse over the next four to five months.

We'll leave it there as far as the details go for now. We've already got a great crop of participants who have signed on, but we could always use more. If this sounds like something you'd like to do, or if you know someone who'd be perfect for it, email me at Gregg.Palermo@patch.com.

Lou Hamilton, the Metro's taxi commission chair, one of the best. A city democrat but one of the best.

"A city democrat but one of the best" If he's one of the best, then why is the caveat needed? ...ah this era of tribal partisanship.
