Wentzville Board of Aldermen Election: Submit Your Questions for Candidates

Patch will send questionnaires to the candidates running in the April municipal election. What questions should we include?

As we approach this April's election, Patch will send each candidate a questionnaire to help empower voters to cast their ballots for the candidates they believe in.

And we would like to include all of you in the process.

The candidates for the April 2 municipal election are set, and Wentzville's Ward 3 has three candidates vying for alderman: Michael Hays, Linda L. Wright, and Darrel Lackey.

In the Ward 1 race, incumbent Cheryl Kross will face Robert Hussey. Chris Gard is unchallenged for the Ward 2 seat.

For municipal judge, incumbent Steve Martin is being challenged by Michael Carter, a former Wentzville municipal judge.

What questions do you have for the candidates? Do you have a question about a particular issue? Or would you like to know the candidates' viewpoints on a more general question for the whole city?

Please share your questions in the comments section at the bottom of this article. We'll include as many as we can in our candidate questionnaire.

We ask that you please ask questions that are on point and deal with the issues—this is not a forum for personal attacks on one candidate or a specific issue.

This is your election, Wentzville—what information do you need before heading into the voting booth? Please submit your questions by 5 p.m. on Monday, March 4.
