Wentzville Citizen of the Year Nominations Now Open

Nominations are open through October 15.

Know someone in the community whose service or actions deserve special recognition? 

Now through October 15, residents are invited to nominate that person to be named Wentzville’s 2013 Citizen of the Year.

To submit a nomination, a person must be either a resident of the City of Wentzville, a Wentzville business owner, or an employee of a business located in Wentzville.

For a nominee to be eligible, he or she must reside in Wentzville at the time the nomination is made, and cannot be an elected official or serve on the Citizen of the Year Award selection committee.

Nominating forms are available at Wentzville City Hall, or residents can call (636) 327-5101 and request a form be mailed to them. Nomination forms are also available online from the City’s Web site at www.wentzvillemo.org.

When filling out the nomination form, in addition to detailed information as to why they believe the nominee deserves this award, residents can provide any photos and documents they believe support their nomination.

Completed nomination forms and any related attachments must be returned to Wentzville’s City Clerk, Vitula Skillman, at Wentzville City Hall, 310 West Pearce Boulevard, Wentzville, MO 63385, no later than October 15.  

The Wentzville Board of Aldermen will make the presentation of the award to the winning nominee at one of the January 2014 Board of Aldermen meetings.
