Wentzville Firefighters, Emergency Workers Honored for Response

The Lake Saint Louis City Council will honor emergency workers for their role in responding to an apartment fire Feb. 29.

The Lake Saint Louis City Council plans to present firefighters and other first responders from the Wentzville and Lake Saint Louis fire protection districts with a resolution at its 7 p.m. meeting Monday.

The resolution will honor the firefighters, paramedics and others for their “timely, courageous and dedicated response” to a fire at Camden Cedar Lake Apartments Feb. 29

The fire destroyed 16 units in the apartment complex in Lake Saint Louis, a fire made worse by strong winds. No one was injured, and firefighters rescued two dogs and a cat from the apartments.
