Wentzville Woman Sues Former Employer Dardenne Prairie

Dana Knaust said accusations created a hostile working environment.

A woman accused of having an inappropriate relationship with county sheriff's deputies while working at her government job is seeking unspecified damages from the City of Dardenne Prairie, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch is reporting.

According to the report, Dana Knaust resigned her Dardenne Prairie assistant court clerk position Jan. 17 after the former court administrator said she had an inappropriate relationship at work with one deputy in particular.

The married Knaust said those accusations created a hostile working environment, the report said.

The suit has been filed in the St. Charles County Circuit Court.
