Having to leave your child with another person can be a difficult decision. Babysitters who receive professional babysitter training can provide parents more peace of mind when leaving their children with a caregiver.
Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital offers Babysitting Basics for boys and girls, 11 years and older.
Participants will learn general guidelines including infant and toddler care, appropriate discipline techniques, safety skills and more. A good babysitter training course will teach pre-teens and teens how to respond to different situations and be better prepared for childcare giving.

The event will be held at the HealthWise Center, 1 Professional Building, 6 Jungermann Circle, Suite 117, St. Peters (on the campus of Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital).
Cost of the program is $15.
