Holt, Timberland Students to Participate in Thespian Festival
Students chosen for the All-Missouri Company will be presenting Jekyll and Hyde at the festival in Nebraska.
The Educational Theater Association, a professional organization for theatre educators, operates the International Thespian Society, an honorary organization for high school and middle school theatre students. It also offers the annual Thespian Festival as a showcase for the best in high school theatre.
This year's festival take place June 20 - 25 at the Lied Center of the Performing Arts in Lincoln, Nebraska. This is the first time the All-State Missouri Company has been selected for this honor.
The All-State Missouri Cast and Crew is one of only ten groups in the nation selected to perform at the festival—one of the highest honors a high school production group can receive—and the first time the Missouri company has been selected.

Two local students were chosen for roles in the Missouri All-State production of Jekyll and Hyde:
- Erica Loesche, Holt High School (ensemble member playing swing roles)
- Garrett Woodward, Timberland High School (Lord Savage)
