Ranken Tech to Give Away $1,000 Scholarships at Open House Event

Ranken Tech will offer tours of its new facility at an open house on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at its new Wentzville campus on Parr Road.

Ranken Wentzville, the Wentzville campus of Ranken Technical College, will hold an open house event on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The school is operating out of space in the Carpenters Council building/Larry Elms Training Center at 755 Parr Road, just north of Highway A.

At the open house, visitors will be able to tour the new facilities and meet instructors. Potential students will have the chance to meet with admissions counselors and learn about financial aid and scholarships.

A drawing will be held for two $1,000 scholarships for students who start this spring and $100 tuition credits for students who register on Thursday.

This summer, Ranken will offer classes in Automotive Maintenance Technology, Information Technology, Microsoft Windows Server and degree work for a Bachelor's in Science in Applied Management.

In the fall, Ranken will add Advanced Manufacturing Technology and Building Systems Engineering Technology. Then, in the fall of 2014 classes will begin in Diesel Technology.
