Ratchet Rockers Robotics Takes Second Place

In FIRST Robotics tournament held March 17-19.

The Ratchet Rockers Robotics Team, comprised of 30 students from both and High Schools, took second place at the FIRST Robotics Regional Competition held in St. Louis March 17-19 at the Chaifetz Arena. The competition combines math and science with the excitement of sport to create a unique and challenging event using robots that students have six short weeks to design and build.

Nearly 500 students from 50 high schools competed in the three-day event.

The Wentzville Ratchet Rockers were also awarded the "Creativity" award for innovative thinking and overcoming obstacles during the competition. The team will compete again at the FIRST International Championship at the Edward Jones Dome April 27-30.
