Timberland Presents Classic Play Within a Play 'Noises Off'

Noises Off will be presented on March 14, 15 and 16 at Timberland High School.

(The following press release was submitted by Wentzville School District.)

Timberland High School drama students will perform “Noises Off” on March 14, 15 and 16 at 7:30 pm in the Carl Reininger Theater. “Noises Off” is a classic British farce about a play within a play.

Act one opens with the cast rehearsing with less than twenty-four hours before the show opens—lines are forgotten and nerves are frayed.

In act two, we see the play during a performance one month later, from backstage where relationships are slowly being revealed and ruined, along with the play itself. In act three, we see the play as the run of the show is almost over, and everyone and everything is slowly falling apart.

This unbelievably hilarious show is written by Michael Frayn. Tickets are $5.00 for students and $6.00 for adults.
