Previous elected offices: none

What is the primary reason you are running for this office? My primary reason to run for the Wentzville Board of Education is my three children, the 13,000 students, the staff and the stakeholders. My motivation is drawn from my passion for quality education, and special education is a very strong motivator for me. As the district continues to grow so does our Special Education Department and I want to ensure these students receive the proper education and that the district utilizes its resources to the fullest and to eventually be the model for surrounding districts.

What will be your single most important priority if you are elected? Special Education and Professional Development

What sets you apart from other candidates? What sets me apart from the other candidates is that I have a perspective as a parent, volunteer, a community member and a much recent employee. This allows me to have a strong insight to where the district needs are and what we need to focus on.

How long have you lived in the district? Wentzville School District resident for 9 years

What's your favorite thing about the Wentzville School District? The quality education my children have received.

What is the biggest problem that you believe the district will face in the future? The biggest problem the district faces is keeping up with the growth and continuing to provide a quality education.
