Race to Cure Lymphoma 5K, 10K

The sixth annual Race To Cure Lymphoma 5K and 10K and 1-Mile walk to benefit cancer research and patient care will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday October 1 on a flat, fast course at in Hazelwood.

The certified course will feature timing by Big River Running, live music by rock cover band Second Wind, finisher’s medals to the first 800 participants, plenty of giveaways, and a chance to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients.

Tom O’Neal from Fox 2 News will emcee, deejays will keep things hopping at the start and finish line with lively tunes, and the St. Louis Superman plus Boo the Clown will entertain kids of all ages.

There will also be a superhero costume contest and a 90-yard Sprite Sprint for children.
