Holt Named MSHSAA Leadership School

For the 2010-11 school year.

 has qualified as a Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) “Leadership School” for the 2010-2011 school year.

“By obtaining this distinction, it demonstrates that Holt High School truly believes in and emphasizes sportsmanship, citizenship, leadership and respect in its activities programs,” said MSHSAA Associate Executive Director Stacy Schroeder.  

The honor is based on criteria that include:

  • Sportsmanship and leadership training, 
  • Scholastic achievement, 
  • Having programs in place to recognize students for their community involvement.

This is the eighth time in the last decade that the school has applied for and received the distinction, which was awarded this year to 61 high schools across the state of Missouri.
