Lake Saint Louis Parks and Recreation Youth Ball Signups

T-Ball, baseball and softball leagues are now forming.

is taking registration for ball leagues. Walk-in registration opened on Jan. 3 and runs to Feb. 17. Registrations after that date will be placed on a waiting list. Online registration is also available.

  • T-Ball for four-year-olds includes instruction and game play. This is a six-week program Saturday mornings at from May 5 - June 16. The resident fee is $42, shirts and hats provided. Parents are asked to volunteer to help.
  • Leagues are offered with coach pitch is for five- and six-year-olds and machine pitch for seven-year-olds (10-game season) and eight-year-olds (12-game season), shirts and hats provided.
  • New Horizon League is a city-sponsored youth program that focuses on sportsmanship, character and fair play. Games are played from April to mid-July, with most home games at . Other cities in the league are Dardenne Prairie, Wentzville, New Melle, River City and Wright City. Teams provide their own uniforms. Fees for the youth leagues are $73/residents.
  • The AA Select League has a 16-game schedule in conjunction with the St. Peters Athletic Association. The team registration fee is $1200.

The Parks and Rec department is also looking for umpires. Candidates need to be age 14 and over, with experience helpful but not necessary. Training is provided, and pay starts at $15 per game.
