Montee Ball rushed for an even 100 yards and scored a touchdown, but it wasn't enough to overcome Stanford as the Wisconsin Badgers lost 20-14 in the Rose Bowl on Tuesday.
Ball, the Timberland High School graduate, played his final game in the NCAA, where he's scored the most rushing touchdowns in FBS history.
Ball scored early in the second quarter on an 11-yard run that cut Stanford's lead in half.
Ball's 100 yards led all rushers in the game.
This season, Ball became the NCAA's career touchdown leader—with 82—during a game at Penn State on Nov. 24.
Ball must now wait for the NFL Draft, where he's among the most coveted runners in the draft.
